The John Marshall Law School in Atlanta turned to EDC Technology's CampusAnyware for its new student information system.

Since 1933, the John Marshall Law School in Atlanta had provided a high-quality legal education, but could do so only for students taking the state of Georgia bar exam. In 1987, the Georgia Supreme Court changed the procedures and required that all Georgia law schools obtain ABA accreditation. This would expand the reach and value of John Marshall's educational expertise. The school then required an effective student information system.
EDC has been in the higher education technology business since 1964 and has assisted schools with their specialized goals and needs. While the needs presented by John Marshall were unique to law schools, the ability to satisfactorily meet these challenges was neither a new concept nor process for EDC to accomplish. Working with the deans and administrative staff, EDC created a new law school system within CampusAnyware to meet those needs. This included a unique ability to upload the most commonly used online law school application directly into the student records area and input screens designed specifically for law schools.
A variety of other tools and procedures dedicated to the management of day-to-day collection, storage, retrieval and reporting of necessary law school data was included. Atlanta's John Marshall Law School has been fully approved by the Council of the Section of Legal Education & Admissions of the American Bar Association since 2009. The school has enjoyed unprecedented growth and has become a major institution of legal education in the Southeast.
